Melinda has been creating since 2014, drawing a heavy influence from geometric patterns and mathematical inspirations. She displays bold designs, vivid tones, and a broad array of textural mediums and illusions within her work. With a strong focus on contradiction, she plays heavily with the relationship between rectilinear and curvilinear line. Melinda is artistically ambidextrous, and has a wide range of comfort within mediums. She works with watercolor, plaster, dimensional mixed media, acrylic, ink, etching, and paper craft - she is persistent with diving into new media, and thrives on the ability to blend them seamlessly. Melinda sets high personal expectations, working with such composition and media that often push her artistic limits. Her sense of creativity can be felt through her work, as she readily invites contradiction to whimsically play with the illusion of fluidity and dimension.
